Cedar Links - Major Remodel
This project was a complete transformation — taking an existing home and reimagining it into a spacious, high-end custom residence.
Located on Cedar Links in Medford, this 2,859 sq ft home now features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but the final result only tells part of the story. To achieve this layout, we added over 700 square feet to the home, including a 311 sq ft front addition to redefine the entry and street presence, and a 401 sq ft rear addition to create a private, expansive primary suite.
Inside, the home was fully opened up and redesigned. We removed structural limitations, reworked the layout, and created a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The roof structure was also modified with raised heel trusses, allowing for taller walls and a more open, elevated feel throughout the home.
The finished space includes a vaulted great room, separate family room, and a double-deep kitchen island with quartz countertops. The primary suite is a standout feature, complete with a lighted tray ceiling, heated bathroom floors, glass rain shower, stand-alone tub, and a large walk-in closet.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful design, structural changes, and strategic additions can completely transform an existing home into something that feels entirely new.
