1. Consultation - Getting To Know Your Needs
As the first step in our process, we’ll talk through your goals for the home, how you want the space to function, your priorities, budget, timeline, and any initial questions or concerns about the property.
This consultation helps us understand the project, discuss the overall scope, and determine whether Southridge Builders is a good fit for your custom home. If you decide to move forward, the next step is our design and preconstruction phase.
2. Project Development - Collaboration, Plans & Design
Once you’re ready to move forward, we begin with a paid design agreement. This phase is where your ideas start becoming a buildable plan.
Depending on the project, our design and preconstruction work may include floor plans, elevations, construction documents, structural and engineering coordination, site and zoning review, and preparation for permitting.
As the design develops, we collaborate with trade partners and suppliers to refine the scope and construction pricing. This allows us to build a more accurate estimate as the plans, materials, and selections become more defined.
If you already have an architect or designer, we’re happy to work with your existing team. We also offer in-house design services for clients who want Southridge Builders to guide the project from design through permitting and construction.
3. Construction
Once the design, project scope, and budget are finalized, we move into the construction phase.
Southridge Builders coordinates permitting, scheduling, trade partners, materials, and inspections to keep the project moving efficiently from start to finish. Throughout construction, our team stays in regular communication with you, providing updates on progress, upcoming work, and any changes that may affect the project.
Our focus throughout the build is on careful coordination, quality craftsmanship, and attention to the details that bring the final design together.

4. Completion & Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn’t end when construction is complete. After the final walkthrough and project closeout, we remain available to address questions or concerns that may arise and to stand behind the work we’ve completed.
We provide warranty support on our projects and want you to feel confident in the quality of your new home long after construction is finished. Our team is committed to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and making sure the finished project reflects the care that went into planning and building it.
